Where do the tours depart?

Our Butchart Gardens, City Tour with Craigdarroch Castle,  depart in front of the Fairmont Empress hotel.

Does CVS Tours offer hotel pickup?

We only offer hotel pick up on our Best of Victoria Tour. *If hotel pick up is not requested on these tours pick up will be located in front of the Empress Hotel.

How long does it take to get to Butchart Gardens?

It is a 40-minute bus ride to Butchart Gardens.

How do you get from the Butterfly Gardens to Butchart Gardens?

Our buses will drop you at Butterfly Gardens and then the next bus will pick you up. The time you will have at the Butterfly Gardens will depend on Butchart Gardenss schedule at that time of the year. In the high season (June 1 to August 31), we have a dedicated shuttle running between Butterfly Gardens and Butchart Gardens, every 30 minutes.

Can you skip Butterfly Gardens?

Yes, if you would just like to go to Butchart Gardens you will stay on the bus and guests going to Butterfly Gardens will get off.

How do I get to Victoria?

Victoria is on an island so you will need to take a ferry (BC Ferries, Clipper, Coho Ferry, V2V Ferry, etc) or you will need to take an airplane (YYJ Airport, Harbour Air, Helijet, or Kenmore Air).

If coming from Vancouver you can take; BC Ferries, V2V Ferry, YYJ Airport, Harbour Air, Helijet, Kenmore Air.

If coming from Seattle; Clipper ferry, Coho Ferry, YYJ Airport, Harbour Air, Kenmore Air.

Do we offer tours from Vancouver?

No, we only offer tours from Victoria.

Are children free?

Children UNDER 5 are free.

Are the tours guided?

All bus tours have live driver narration on the way to the venues.

How do I get from the Cruise port to the Fairmont Empress?

There is a shuttle bus available at the Cruise Terminal for a cost of $15 Canadian per person for round-trip transportation. It will drop you at our departure point in front of the Empress Hotel.

Will there be enough room on the last bus back from Butchart Gardens?

Yes, as long as you are at the departure point before the departure time there will be enough buses to take back all of our guests.

Are your tours priced in American or Canadian dollars?

On our website, the prices are in Canadian dollars. if you are looking on other sites the prices may be in American or Canadian dollars
