British Columbia’s capital city is hard to write about for all the right reasons. There’s so much to see and do that you really can’t describe Victoria in just one or two ways. Some would describe Victoria as quaint, from the horse-drawn carriages to its beautiful gardens and classic architecture. But this might seem to contrast with those who would describe it as cosmopolitan, thanks to the great shopping, dining, and entertainment. Still, others might call it exhilarating, thanks to the multitude of outdoor adventures close to the city, from whale watching to skiing.
